The cinematic trailer for Warner Bros.’ upcoming platform fighter MultiVersus reveals Ultra Instinct Shaggy in action and debuts the Iron Giant.
Warner Bros. and Player First Games unveiled the cinematic trailer for the upcoming fighting game MultiVersus.
The trailer features a plethora of characters pulled from a variety of intellectual properties duke it out in a strange location. As Batman is pulled through a multiversal portal, he finds himself paired up with Scooby-Doo‘s Shaggy, who unleashes his full rage against Bugs Bunny and Aria Stark from Game of Thrones. As the brawl spirals out of control, fans are treated to appearances from several other characters, including Jake (Adventure Time), Garnet (Steven Universe) and Superman. The trailer also confirms two new playable MultiVersus fighters: The Tasmanian Devil and The Iron Giant, adorned with his own Superman crest.
Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus is a platform fighter that will see gamers assume the role of their favorite Warner Bros. characters in 2v2 matches. Similar to the format popularized by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, players must try and knock their opponents out of the ring by dealing damage using a variety of moves. The more damage a character sustains, the easier it becomes to knock them flying.
