WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Mayans M.C. Season 4, Episode 10, “When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight,” which aired Tuesday on FX.

The final episode of Mayans M.C. Season 4, “When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight,” brings back Season 3 villain Isaac, revealing him as a member of the Sons of Anarchy.

In Mayans M.C. Season 4, Episode 8, “The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man,” viewers learned San Bernardino Sons of Anarchy member Terry’s sponsor had returned. The general sense was that no one much liked Terry’s sponsor and that he was known for being particularly brutal. “When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight” further confirms this when Tig Trager visits Terry in the hospital and becomes aggressive and frustrated by the return of the latter’s sponsor. During their conversation, Tig reveals Terry’s sponsor is the younger brother of San Bernardino President Les Packer and that he is not, in fact, well-liked, due in large part to his instability and brutality.

The official conformation that Terry’s sponsor is Isaac comes later in the episode after Manny and a number of other higher-ups in the Mayans M.C. are captured by the Sons of Anarchy. Isaac begins taunting Manny before lighting him on fire. Like in his previous appearances, the villain goes on a long, extended monologue filled with metaphors. After killing Manny, Isaac lets a different prisoner go, calling him as a “Judas Goat,” which is a reference to what he called Coco in Season 3.

Played by JR Bourne, Isaac first appeared in Mayans M.C. Season 3. The character was the leader of Meth Mountain and used Coco’s drug addiction to make him do a number of tasks that put his life in danger. In the Mayans M.C. Season 3 finale, Coco shot Isaac in the throat, and the villain was presumed dead. A number of theories sprung up around Isaac, who was speculated to be a member of the Sons of Anarchy due to his reaper tattoo.
