Dimension 20 Requests That Fans Don’t Eat Their Nutritious New Dice Set

Cookbook Planner

The curtain may have closed on Calorum’s recent prequel The Ravening War, but fans still hungry for more from Dimension 20‘s A Crown of Candy spin-off can now feast at their own tables with the show’s visually – but not literally – delectable dice set.

The Ravening War Dice Set, inspired by the Crown of Candy prequel helmed by Critical Role‘s Matthew Mercer, serves as a visually nutritious successor to Dropout’s preceding sugary set of math rocks. This new set of resin dice pays homage to healthier fodder than its successor, namely fruits and vegetables, and the photos showing off the set on Dropout’s site evoke snack-worthy Charcuterie imagery. “Please don’t eat these dice either,” Dropout warns of both the new dice set and its candy-based counterpart, despite their scrumptious appearance.

An official Ravening War dice bag houses the set of seven green and yellow resin dice, that retail at just under $50 USD before shipping. Much like the purple A Crown of Candy dice set that came before, a natural hit on the twenty-sided die is emblazoned with the flagship campaign’s titular crown. The new set was announced alongside an equally tempting piece of loot for Dropout fans, a pair of earrings inspired by the set of Game Changer. In addition to Dimension 20 and Game Changer, Dropout boasts series such as Make Some Noise, Dirty Laundry, and the Brennan Lee Mulligan-hosted Adventuring Academy.

Mulligan stepped back into the beloved world of A Crown of Candy as a player earlier this year, completing his Dungeons & Dragons prequel exchange with Mercer. The Critical Role Game Master even kicked off The Ravening War with a reference to Mulligan’s time at the helm of Exandria Unlimited: Calamity. Since The Ravening War ended, the Dropout crew have embarked on further TTRPG adventures such as Dungeons & Drag Queens and the current series Mentopolis, featuring Hank Green in his Dimension 20 debut.

As an independent platform, Dropout does not fall under the purview of the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers (AMPTP) and therefore can continue both recording and promoting seasons of Dimension 20 during the joint WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike. Though Dropout’s CEO Sam Reich initially announced that production was on hold at the onset of the SAG-AFTRA strike, he recently updated this policy and outlined where the network legally falls within the context of Hollywood’s current labor movement. Though Dropout had many shows lined up prior to the initial pause, including Dimension 20: Mentopolis, this news still came as a relief for fans of the network at large.

Dimension 20 fans can acquire the show’s latest, fresh from the farmer’s market dice set and watch the entirety of The Ravening War at Dropout.
