Comics and graphic novels have become a major avenue for providing Star Wars content to fans. Takashi Okazaki’s issue of Star Wars: Visions has a stunning cover. The black and white is contrasted by a looming masked figure with a blood-red lightsaber. The Ronin can be seen walking beneath the glow of the blade with his droid, B5-56. Marvel Editor Danny Khazem said, “The Ronin is such a unique character, but one that still feels at home in the Star Wars galaxy”. He added “He was one of the most fan-favorite introductions from the Disney+ series and now, Takashi gets the chance to expand upon the history of the Ronin here. We’re all blown away with the work he has been doing and this issue is no exception: the action and intrigue all packed into this one-shot is stunning!”

The Star Wars franchise is one of the largest of all time. Aside from the blockbuster films it has seen success on the small screen, too. Shows like Star Wars: The Clone Wars became huge hits, due to their ability to explore characterization and lore in greater depth than the movies had done. Ahsoka Tano, who now has her own show on Disney+, is an example of a character that was created for the animated Star Wars universe and became a fan favorite. Star Wars: Rebels is another prominent animated series in the franchise. As the lore and mythology of Star Wars are so broad and complex, there have been attempts to branch out to nearly every other type of media.
