B-Rank represents the middle of the pack of all jutsu in Naruto. Most B-Rank jutsu do not pose as great of a threat as A-Rank and S-Rank jutsu. However, some B-Rank jutsu can have power on par with higher ranking jutsu depending on the situation and the caster’s strength.
Simply because B-Rank jutsu do not constitute the upper echelons of jutsu does not mean that the stronger characters do not utilize them. From Kiba to Madara, practically every character employs B-Rank jutsu regardless of their power. Thus, nobody should underestimate B-Rank jutsu, as characters consistently use them to unleash powerful attacks throughout Naruto.
10 The Liger Bomb Forces Sasuke To Use Susano’o
The Liger Bomb is a jutsu in which the Fourth Raikage grabs his opponent and throws them down, shattering the ground immediately upon impact. Darui states that no one has ever survived the Fourth Raikage’s Liger Bomb at the Kage Summit.
Sasuke becomes the first person to not die from the Liger Bomb, thanks to his Susano’o. The fact that this jutsu forces Sasuke to use his best Mangekyo Sharingan ability is a testament to its power. Although the Fourth Raikage only uses this jutsu once, it is still one of his most destructive techniques.
9 Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique Can Prevent People From Moving
Onoki, the third Tsuchikage of the Hidden Stone Village, uses the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique to significantly increase the weight of whatever he touches. One of its main functions is to make opponents lose their mobility. Onoki employs this tactic against Mu during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Onoki tags Mu from behind and consequently immobilizes him since he cannot move around easily with his increased weight. Onoki can also use this technique to turn whatever he touches into stone as shown when he transforms White Zetsu at the Kage Summit.
8 Darui’s Lightning Release: Black Panther Electrocutes Opponents
Unlike most Lightning Release users, Darui can unleash Black Lightning. He can use Lightning Release: Black Panther to launch Black Lightning in the shape of a panther. It has decent range since it hits a horde of White Zetsu soldiers all at once during the war arc.
The sheer speed of Lightning Release: Black Panther makes it hard to evade, and it also has the power to immobilize opponents who use Tailed Beast chakra such as Kinkaku. Additionally, Darui shows he can create a clone to shoot two Black Panther jutsu simultaneously.
7 Earth Release: Sandwich Technique Makes A Sandwich
Kitsuchi, a member of the Hidden Stone Village, performs Earth Release: Sandwich Technique as one of the best Earth Release users in Naruto. The Sandwich Technique allows Kitsuchi to summon two massive walls from the ground that collide toward each other and crush the target.
Hence, it is aptly named the Sandwich Technique. The walls from the ground tower over the Gedo Statue, so the scale of this jutsu is impressive. This jutsu has incredible power, as only something as strong as the Gedo Statue can avoid getting squished.
6 Fire Style: Blast Wave Wild Dance Has Impressive Scale & Power
Obito is one of the best Fire Style users in Naruto due to his ability to use Kamui in conjunction with his Fire jutsu. He activates Kamui while performing the Fire Style: Blast Wave Wild Dance to make his flames travel in a spiral. Thus, he creates a vortex of fire and sends it straight at his target.
Obito launches this vortex of fire directly at Kakashi and Might Guy, who seem helpless as they cannot defend themselves due to the jutsu’s scale. Naruto luckily comes in to block the jutsu, but he has to rely on the Nine-Tails chakra to do so.
5 Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame Almost Roasts The Shinobi Alliance
Madara can shoot fire that spans the width of an entire army with the Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame. It requires multiple Water Release users to counter it. Madara performs this Jutsu against the Shinobi Alliance and almost obliterates everyone.
Choji states that if Naruto were not protecting the entire Shinobi Alliance, everyone would have gotten roasted by Madara’s flames. This jutsu never kills anyone, but this is because a few people who can protect the majority from the flames are always present whenever Madara uses it.
4 Endless Summoning Is Hard To Stop
Nagato’s Rinnegan gives him the ability to summon animals with unique powers. For instance, he can summon a dog monster that multiplies the number of heads it has every time someone attacks it. The only ways to counter it include beating the summoner or using an extremely hot jutsu such as Amaterasu.
Although Endless Summoning is neither an S-Rank nor A-Rank Jutsu, not many characters can stop it. When Sage Mode Naruto encounters this jutsu, he has to rely on Sage Toads to finish off the summoned animals.
3 Demonic Illusion: Steaming Multistoried Building Creates A Mirage
Kabuto revives the Second Mizukage, Gengetsu, who performs a powerful Genjutsu called Demonic Illusion: Steaming Multistoried Building against the Shinobi Alliance. Gengetsu summons a giant clam to produce a mist that creates a mirage of him to deceive others. The members of the Shinobi Alliance continually attack Gengetsu’s mirage without realizing that his real body lies elsewhere.
Even though Gengetsu tells the Shinobi Alliance that they are attacking his mirage, the ninjas still struggle to beat this jutsu. A person has to find Gengetsu’s real clam and land a hit strong enough to break it. However, this jutsu makes his clam invisible, so this is no easy task.
2 Uchiha Reflection Obliterates Naruto
Madara’s War Fan can be used not only for sword fighting, but also to repel opponents’ attacks. Uchiha Reflection requires the use of this weapon to execute. Madara blocks an attack with his fan and directs it back at the opponent, acting as both a defensive and offensive technique.
Other characters have a difficult time bypassing the fan, as it has a high threshold of how much damage it can take. For instance, Naruto’s Mini-Tailed Beast Ball cannot break Madara’s fan despite being a powerful jutsu.
1 Uchiha Flame Formation Protects The Gedo Statue
Killer Bee in his Eight-Tails transformation attempts to punch the Gedo Statue, but Obito protects the statue with Uchiha Flame Formation. Since the Gedo Statue is essential for resurrecting the Ten-Tails, Obito needs to rely on a jutsu that can sufficiently protect it.
Hence, Obito uses this jutsu to summon a wall around the statue that burns anything it comes in contact with. Killer Bee’s punch backfires, as he ends up burning his fist. If a punch from a Jinchuriki in their Tailed Beast form cannot penetrate it, then not many can.
