In an interview with CBR at SDCC 2022, The Dragon Prince creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond tease what fans can expect from Season 4.

One of Netflix’s most popular and acclaimed original animated series, The Dragon Prince received an impressive four-season renewal following the premiere of its third season in 2019. As announced at San Diego Comic-Con International 2022, the wait for The Dragon Prince Season 4 is nearly over, with the fantasy series returning to Netflix with new episodes this November. Set in the high fantasy world of Xadia, peace may have come to the rival kingdoms following the epic Battle of the Storm Spire, but tension continues to foment and fester. With the villainous Viren resurrected by his daughter Claudia and Viren’s magical benefactor Aaravos on the loose, this fragile peace may not last much longer.

The Dragon Prince creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond joined the CBR Media Room to share details about Season 4 ahead of its return this November. From introducing a new region and faction of Xadia into the hit series to a surprise time jump after the Season 3 finale, there are plenty of interesting developments coming to The Dragon Prince. To tide fans over until the premiere, Ehasz and Richmond shared details about the recently released Dragon Prince original graphic novel Bloodmoon Huntress and tabletop game Tales of Xadia in a sweeping interview.

Created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, The Dragon Prince Season 4 premieres in November on Netflix.
